Itinerary and highlights
New York in French offers you a day trip (6h including approx. 2h30 actual cycling) in neighborhoods of Brooklyn which have not yet given in to the sirens of mass tourism.
Depart from Manhattan.
Crossing the legendary Brooklyn Bridge.
Discovery of the very pretty DUMBO district.
Then direction Red Hook, an isolated district (inaccessible by metro) which keeps the marks of its port activity (it was one of the main American ports in the 1850s) and now has multiple points of interest, more authentic as each other!
A lunch break is planned at Red Hook, relaxed.
The way back will give you a glimpse of the superb neighborhoods of Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill and Brooklyn Heights.
